Terms and Conditions

  1. The Promoter is Valor Hospitality Europe Limited , acting as an agent on behalf of DTP Hospitality UK Limited: 3rd Floor, South Wing, St James House, 27-34 Eastern Road, Romford, Essex. RM1 3NH – Company registration number SC481196.
  2. There will be voucher prizes to be won: 1st place £5,000 of vouchers, 2nd place £2,000 of vouchers and £1,000 for 3rd, 4th, 5th place.
  3. Vouchers are for the participating agent and not the individual booker. It will be down to the winning agents to decide how the vouchers are to be distributed within their company.
  4. All of our winning agents must choose their preferred voucher retailer(s) within 6 weeks of winning the prize.
  5. Winners will be chosen by a random draw and notified in writing by 1st week of September 2024.
  6. The prize is valid only for those Agents who have registered through the official Valorfest website at www.valorfest.co.uk.
  7. All entries must be submitted before the competition’s specified close date Friday 9th August 2024.
  8. Only confirmed and contracted bookings will be entered into the prize draw. The deadline date for returning contracts is Friday 23rd August 2024 and this date cannot be extended.
  9. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault [technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind].
  10. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
  11. The Promoter reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Prize Draw with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of The Promoter in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  12. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon registration. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  13. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, under its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude any party which they may believe has compromised the ethics of the competition and that they will subsequently be excluded from participating in the competition.
  14. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize (including, without limitation, travel to and from the shops).
  15. The winners will be notified by email and must provide a business postal address to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to The Promoter within 14 days of being notified by The Promoter, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and The Promoter shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will have to respond to notification of their win within 14 days or else they will also forfeit their prize). If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and The Promoter shall be entitled to select another winner.
  16. The prize will be delivered to the winner by The Promoter in person, wherever possible.  Alternatively sent by post or email.
  17. The names of the winning agents can be obtained after 21st September 2024 by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the following address: Valor Hospitality Europe Limited, 3rd Floor, South Wing, St James House, 27-34 Eastern Road, Romford, Essex. RM1 3NH
  18. The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
  19. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Prize Draw or accepting the prize. The Promoter further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Prize Draw. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of the Promoter for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.
  20. The winners are required to take part in promotional activity related to the Prize Draw and the winners shall participate in such activity on The Promoter’s reasonable request. The winners consents to the use by The Promoter and its related companies, after the date of the Prize Draw for an unlimited time, of the winner’s voice, images, photographs and names for publicity purposes (in any medium, including still photographs and films, social media and on the internet, including any websites hosted by The Promoter and its related companies) and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice and, in entering the Prize Draw, all entrants consent to the same.
  21. The Promoter shall use and take care of any personal information you supply to it as described in its privacy policy, a copy of which can be requested via dataprotection@valoreurope.com and in accordance with all data protection legislation. By entering the Prize Draw, you agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of your personal and company information in order to process and contact you about your Prize Draw entry, and for the purposes outlined in paragraph 20 above.
  22. The Prize Draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the Prize Draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
